The Project Management Institute, Ghana (PMI Ghana) is a Professional Body incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Ghana under the Professional Bodies Act 143. It is affiliated with the Project Management Institute Inc. and the PMI Ghana Chapter.

The Project Management Institute, Ghana is a Professional Body, whereas the PMI Ghana Chapter is a local chapter of the global Project Management Institute. Membership in PMI Ghana is for those who are part of both PMI and the PMI Ghana Chapter.

Membership categories include:

Students
Practitioners
Senior Practitioners
Fellows
Honorary Fellows

These categories are determined based on educational qualifications, professional certifications, contributions to the chapter and the profession, and years of practice.

To become a member, you must first join PMI and the PMI Ghana Chapter. Membership dues are $109 for PMI and $35 for the PMI Ghana Chapter.

Yes, other local operational costs may apply in addition to the membership dues, based on the category an applicant may fall in.

What do I receive as a member of Project Management Institute, Ghana?

Each member will be issued a Professional Body Certificate by the Registrar of Professional Bodies.
